Cellular attachment test. Small, round cells (asterisk) were sporadically attached on the surface of bovine bone (a). Cellular spreading (asterisk) was frequently observed, and multiple round projections on the cellular surface were noticed in the 4-hexylresorcinol-incorporated bovine bone group (b). High magnification view demonstrated small cells conglomerated each other in the bovine bone group (c).
