  1. The treatment group consisted of 20 subjects (10 males, 10 females) with a mean age of 22.45 ± 0.92 years. The control group, on the other hand, consisted of 20 subjects (6 males, 14 females) with a mean age of 22.85 ± 0.98 years. The mean value of occlusal canting in the treatment group was 3.02 ± 0.17 mm whereas that in the control group was 4.15 ± 0.34 mm. The mean treatment duration in the treatment group was 15.9 ± 5.48 months whereas that in the control group was 32.9 ± 14.05 months
