Clinical assessments of pain and mandibular function of patients postoperatively. The following were significantly improved at only 2 weeks after surgery: a visual analog (VAS) pain score, b maximal mouth opening (MMO), d ipsilateral lateral mandibular movement, e contralateral lateral mandibular movement, and f left lateral movement.
